BFDI CMO is contracted to provide supervision and monitoring of treatment services to youth and families that are placed with the Wayne County Department of Children and Family Services (WCDCAFS).

To ensure youth and families receive services they need to be successfully released from the juvenile justice system and achieve their personal goals, while ensuring community safety.

    To be eligible for this program: Youth needs to be committed to Wayne county Department of Children and Family Services under the supervising of Michigan Department of Human Services

    CMO Integrated Services Program


    Overview

    BFDI CMO Integrated Services program is contracted to provide supervision, treatment, and case management services to youth and families assigned to the CMO.

    CMO Hope Program


    Overview

    The CMO-HOPE program welcomes youths who identify a need for substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders services.

    HOPE Program provides culturally relevant, individualized, strength based, comprehensive and assessable outpatient (OP) substance abuse services to court ordered youth and their families. These services are provided in the least restrictive environment and in a manner that respects the dignity, worth and rights of the persons served and their families.

    Program Goal

    (1) To reduce alcohol and drug abuse by promoting continued abstinence.
    (2) To assist youth with adopting productive options to substance dependent lifestyles.

  • Individual and group substance abuse therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Case management
  • Relapse prevention
  • Life skills
  • Educational monitoring
  • Drug screen monitoring
  • Crisis intervention services
  • And a variety of other services designed to promote abstinence from tobacco, alcohol and other drugs

    Eligibility Criteria

    Youth of Wayne County, committed to Wayne County Department of Children and Family Services, who demonstrate use or dependence upon alcohol, or other substances.

    Youth who are able to benefit from drug-free Outpatient treatement.
