Finding Abstinence with Commitment to Empowerment & (F.A.C.E) OP

Overview

The FACE program welcomes all individuals who identify a need for substance abuse and/or Co-Occurring, (mental health and substance abuse) disorders services.  We provide Outpatient, Case Management, Women Specific and Co-Occurring Disorder Services. 

FACE Program Goal

The goal of the FACE program is to promote abstinence from alcohol and other drugs as well as address any Co-Occurrence of mental health concerns through a strength based recovery approach.

FACE Program Services
We work collaboratively with several professionals in effort to provide comprehensive recovery oriented care and to ensure the all consumers receive services based on his or her individualized needs. Services include:

  • Assessment and screening
  • Individual, group, and substance abuse therapy
  • Coordination of medical and mental heath care
  • Parenting Skills Training
  • Recovery Management
  • Case Management
  • Advocacy
  • HIV/AIDS Awareness, Screening and Consultation
  • Referrals for Urine Drug Screening
  • Recovery/Peer Support
  • Referral and education on self-help programs
  • Individual, group and family education on co-occurring disorders

    All of these services include a combination of preventative, educational, therapeutic, and recovery management strategies delivered in a clinical setting.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Individuals are eligible to receive services if they reside in Wayne County (excluding the city of Detroit) and are experiencing concerns with substance abuse and mental health challenges. The individual may have Medicaid or no insurance.

    Individuals are referred to the FACE program by the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance’s (SEMCA), Access Management System (AMS) system. Most referrals represent residents of Hamtramck or Highland Park. However, ALL AMS system referrals are welcome.
